WHY DID I CLOSE MY STOREFRONT? 🤷🏽♀️
Welllp, here ya go! 🙌🏼
Over the past year, I have allowed myself to soul search and really figure out what truly makes Chan happy. And in that time, I’ve discovered SO many new things that I enjoy … some of which you guys will be seeing REAL soon! 🥰
Closing my storefront wasn’t an easy decision. That space represented a dream I once prayed for, worked hard for, and was SO proud of. But one thing I’ve learned is that just because something was once your dream doesn’t mean you have to hold onto it forever. Sometimes we grow. Sometimes our desires change. And sometimes God starts pulling us in a completely different direction… and in this situation I felt called to a different chapter & at the time I had NO idea what that meant. ♥️
For a while, I think I was afraid of what closing the store would look like to other people. Would they think I failed? Would they wonder what happened? Would they think something was wrong? But eventually, I had to stop worrying about how it looked and start paying attention to how I felt.
And whewww… choosing myself has opened up a whole new side of me. 🥹
I’m learning Chan outside of the business. Outside of expectations. Outside of what everybody else thinks I should be doing. I’m learning what makes me feel creative, fulfilled, peaceful, and genuinely HAPPY.
So no, closing my storefront wasn’t the end of my story. If anything, it gave me room to start a whole new chapter. I got a little vulnerable in this GRWM, but I felt like it was time to finally share this part of my journey with y’all.
And just know… I’ve been WORKING. 👀😂 There are some things coming that feel so much more aligned with the woman I am becoming, and I cannot WAIT for y’all to see them. 🥰
We are going BACK TO OUR ROOTS in just a week or so… STAY TUNED GURLS
