Art has always played a significant role in my life. I learned to sew at a young age and have continued to sew on and off for most of my life. I was formally trained in Studio Art at LSU and have my BFA with a focus on Painting
and Drawing. It was not until having children that I was inspired to learn to crochet and create crochet designs. Once I started designing and crocheting for them, I haven't been able to, or wanted to, stop! My Muses are my beautiful surroundings on our small acreage in rural Minnesota and my ever inspiring Children! Sweet, smart, and funny, my children are Evan 11, Zoie 8, Izze 6, and Odyn 3 years! I look to their ideas and preferences when selecting and creating designs. For my active children, clothing and accessories must always be functional first, and beautiful second.
