Trying something new for 2023...hand embroidery! I found this pattern from a quaint little shop located in the UK on Etsy called Lilipopo. I saw it and KNEW I had to make this for my dear friend Jill, also the art teacher across the hall from my room at my school. We are both old souls and she loves her chickens and ducks. The original pattern had this girl as a brunette, but I had to change it to red to match Jill and I think it looks just like the talented, sassy, Irish, magical lady that she is.✨

My business is officially closed. I'm mailing out my papers to the state today.
..it was a difficult decision to make, but ever since Riley came into our lives 14 months ago, things have changed a bit! Yes, I could carve out time for my business and scale it back, but as a full-time teacher and a new mom I just want to come home and hang out with my girl. 🥰 ...and make stuff for her!

I want to thank you all for supporting my business over the years. I always had several fans and customers purchase gnomes and koozies season after season and year after year. It was a pleasure making things for you and building relationships with you all. You keep me inspired!

Although my business is closed, it's definitely not the end of being creative...and I think I will re-open in the future if and when the time is right. I did decide to keep this page as kind of a blog to keep you up to date on our homemade/handmade lifestyle and the new things I am making and learning. So it is not totally goodbye! ✨
