Played around last night making this into a Bag Charm / Quarter Holder. Does it need the eyes & whiskers? I'm torn between the two

Some days can be very productive, even if I don't have a lot of finished product to show for it.

Some days are spent prepping materials - overcasting cut edges on new fabric, washing/drying, pressing - all that has to be done before one cut is made, let alone sewing pieces together.

Other days I need to cut the wider fabrics and battings. That was today. Three different battings, each with its own purpose, cut into manageable sections in different widths. That way when I'm putting fabrics together I have the battings ready to cut to the size I need without needing to unfold a huge piece for an 8" 9" or 6" strip.

I did get a little bit of sewing in today too 😁

My Tea Bag Wallets are going through a little bit of a revision. I'm trying out an elastic strap closure instead of the elastic & button that I have been using.

Hosner Gallery INDOOR/ OUTDOOR MARKET UPDATE
********************************

All week we've been watching the weather closely on multiple apps and sources. The percentages have gone up and down, but the status is appearing to be that we WILL see rain with probable thunderstorms on this Saturday during our event.
My preference would have been to hold off on making this decision until tomorrow early afternoon, but I'm having a number of participating vendors message me wanting to know if it's still happening because a lot of them have to start creating their products now in order to be ready this Saturday. It wouldn't be fair to wait on hope and have them make an abundance of product to sell at the market, only to potentially cancel less than 24 hours from now. So after talking it over, we've decided to cancel the August Market.

Our main priority is always the safety and enjoyment of every vendor and shopper and i don't have enough confidence in the forecast to believe the day will allow us to have a safe and fun event.

I appreciate everyone who was going to attend whether your are a vendor or planned to come and see all these amazing people and their crafts!

We will also be contacting vendors to discuss our September and October Markets here shortly.

Thank you all for your understanding, obviously our store will be open as always to shop our 70+ permanent vendors we have her inside

When you goof up making something you have made literally dozens of, and drop nearly anything you touch, you turn the day into "fabric prep day". I came across this fat quarter (18"x22" cut) that I probably got during my time at Alley Cats Marketplace. It could become bowl cozies, pot holders, tea bag wallets, jar grippers... Looking for ideas on what YOU think I should make with it ??? The thread spool is to give you an idea of size of the πŸˆβ€β¬›οΈ πŸˆβ€β¬›οΈ πŸˆβ€β¬›οΈ
