Introducing the Flying Scot. Our most special piece yet! 🌊

Only 2 of these exist in this drop.

The Flying Scot is one of the most iconic sailboats in American history. Designed by Gordon “Sandy” Douglass in 1957, over 6,000 have been built and the design was inducted into the American Sailboat Hall of Fame in 1998. Today it remains one of the leading one-design racing classes in the United States with active fleets competing all over the country.

We got our hands on a real Flying Scot sail — it is hand cut and sewn into two one of a kind tote bags right here in Carteret County. The bold red lettering you see on the outside? That’s original. That’s the sail exactly as it sailed. ⛵️

This week on Dock & Talk we’re breaking down everything going on July 3rd-5th right here in Carteret County — Swansboro fireworks, Emerald Isle fireworks, parades in Beaufort and Pine Knoll Shores, a block party in Beaufort, Atlantic Beach fireworks, and the Goose Creek Island Bash.
