I completely forgot I had lash clients today 😂 so my plans to restyle my kitchen hutch are going to have to wait until this afternoon!

But while I’m sitting here thinking about all of you, I got curious…

What did you do for work before retirement — or what do you do now? 👇🏼

After all the birthday celebrating… 💙

I woke up this morning feeling incredibly grateful.

Grateful for another year.
Grateful for my family.
Grateful for the people who celebrated 50 with me, laughed with me, loved on me and made my day so special.

But this right here…

This is my peace.
My comfort.
My little reminder of just how blessed I am. 🥹💙

Sometimes life gets loud, and busy, and overwhelming. And then you get to slow down, hold a sweet baby, and remember what really matters.

50 looks a little different than I imagined it would… but today, I’m grateful for exactly where I am.

Thank you for all the birthday love. It truly meant more than you know. 🤍

Well… here we are.

If I’m being honest, milestones have always made me a little nervous. Maybe because I know firsthand that life can change in an instant.

Ten years ago, I stepped into 40 not knowing what the next couple of years would bring. ♋️

Today, I step into 50 knowing something I didn’t know then…

Life is a gift. Every single bit of it.

The beautiful days.
The hard days.
The unexpected turns.
The people who love us through it all.
The little boys who call me Mumzie.
My Cajun.
My family.
My friends.
And this crazy little antique business that has become such a big part of my heart.
