Chic Loco Designs is a growing custom apparel and spirit wear company serving local schools, businesses, sports teams, and families. We specialize in embroidery, custom apparel, and creating high-quality products while providing outstanding customer service. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with our business and help manage the daily operations of our shop.
Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Retail & Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store and production area. This is a part time position Thursday-Saturday 12-5 PM. Hours may change with seasonal demand.
The ideal candidate has some retail or production experience, enjoys working independently, is comfortable multitasking, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
* Open and close the retail store
* Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service
* Assist customers with custom apparel orders and product recommendations
* Operate the point-of-sale system
* Manage daily production workflow and priorities
* Produce custom apparel using embroidery, DTF transfers, heat presses, and other production equipment (training provided as needed)
* Inspect products for quality before delivery
* Package and organize completed customer orders
* Maintain inventory of apparel, supplies, and production materials
* Receive and organize incoming shipments
* Keep the retail showroom and production areas clean and organized
* Communicate with customers regarding order status and pickups
* Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and shop operations
Qualifications
* Some retail, production, or customer service experience
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Comfortable working independently and making decisions
* Positive attitude with excellent communication skills
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to learn embroidery and apparel production equipment
* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with heat press equipment
* Experience in apparel decoration or print production
* Shopify or POS experience
* Inventory management experience
* Social media or merchandising experience is a plus
