My heart goes out to all the makers and vendors being impacted by Hurricane Isaias and its aftermath.
To my friends in Florida and Alabama, how are y’all holding up? Thinking of you and hoping you’re safe.
And to the makers and vendors in other states dealing with the rain, flooding, and canceled markets and events, I’m thinking of you, too.
We all put so much time, work, money, and heart into preparing for these events, and it’s incredibly frustrating when Mother Nature has other plans. But some things are bigger than our businesses, and keeping people safe always comes first.
This community is full of talented, hardworking people, and sometimes the best thing we can do is show up for one another.
So, if you’re a maker or vendor, please feel free to drop your business page and a little about what you do in the comments! Introduce yourself, discover some new-to-you businesses, make connections, and support one another however you can.
We’re all in this together, and a little community love can go a long way. 🫶
