The Story:

Every sport has its thing.

Hockey has early mornings and gear bags that never quite dry out. Baseball has sunflower seeds and dusty cleats. And artistic swimming? Well… it has Knox gelatin.

After struggling to find fun, relatable artistic swimming gear to wear at meets, we figured it was time to make something for the moms who get it. Because synchro isn’t just a sport... it’s a whole routine behind the scenes, too.

If you know, you know: It starts hours before the competition. Like… 3+ hours before. You’re in the kitchen mixing gelatin, trying to get the consistency just right... not too thick, not too runny. Then comes the careful application. Close enough to tame every last flyaway, especially those tiny hairs at the back of the neck… but not too close. Not too much. Not too little.

Somehow it has to survive warm-ups, routines, and everything in between while still looking perfectly slicked back.

And getting it out later? That’s a whole separate event.

This shirt is for the moms who’ve stirred Knox, who’ve mastered the art of the perfect bun, and who’ve learned that artistic swimming takes just as much effort on deck as it does in the water.

We got to be apart of the Regional Junior Olympic artistic swimming meet last weekend! What a great experience watching girls from Wisconsin, Illinois, and Missouri competing for a spot at Nationals!

The Story:

I’ve always loved sketchnoting... whether I’m listening to a podcast, sitting in a church service, or just capturing ideas as they come. There’s something about putting pen to paper that makes everything stick a little more… and feel a little more fun.

The Story:

There’s something pretty special about watching your kid find their thing, and for us, that turned out to be artistic swimming.

This design was inspired by our daughter’s journey, which started while we were living abroad. What began as trying something new quickly turned into a full-on love for the sport, including the teamwork, the knoxing (the gel they put in their hair for competitions), the discipline… all of it. When we moved back home, we weren’t sure what that would look like next. But to our surprise, artistic swimming is alive and well right here in the Midwest. Yep, even in Wisconsin!
