8:30-4:30 today at the Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids near the gift shop and coffee shop. Doesn’t cost to get in. I brought women’s fur boots and slippers, baby booties, scarves and purses today. No shoes today.

Everyone Has A Story | Run On Faith and Fashion

Faith is the owner of Run On Faith and Fashion. She began making shoes 11 years ago. Sewing and designing clothes has been a part of her life for a least 25 years!

As an 11-year-old Faith designed clothes for her Barbie’s and Elmo stuffed animal which later turned into making clothes for herself. After being married for some years and 4 kids later she decided to turn her love for sewing into a business and that is when Run on Faith and Fashion was born. The name she chose, gave her space to expand and evolve her business from handmade clothes and scarf designs, to running belts, and then to handcrafted shoes. It’s been a fun journey as Faith's shoes have been unique, always changing, as she finds ways to make new designs or integrate up-cycled materials into them. Faith's newest adventure has been hand-sewn leather purses. Her grandfather was a maker of leather saddles and the smell takes her back to his workshop so so long ago. She finds it thrilling to see an idea come together, no matter what she is making! So on the days that she is just taking care of her family, her plants, or the house, you may just find Faith in her workspace, creating beautiful shoes, scarves, or purses.
