The Holiday season has given us some time to reset and rethink how we foresee The Market continuing. Therefore, we're looking to make some adjustments to our process.

As we evaluated the next steps for The Market, we've been trying to solve a few unique challenges we've faced:

-Buyer demand has been lower than seller inventory
-Tracking inventory across multiple sellers has been very time consuming
-Fulfilling orders out of a large inventory has also been very time consuming

Going forward we plan to pay upfront for inventory rather than on a case by case basis.

We see The Market being a "pre-donation" stepping stone that acts differently to the traditional consignment option. We want it to be a "done for you" option where you drop off, get paid, and move on knowing your clothes will be loved by another family.

We plan to make offers upfront that vary by the goods dropped off.
