From balancing a working-mom lifestyle, to the craziness of life at home, keeping up with friends and family, along with indulging in a little budget-friendly shopping and keeping up with my skincare routine, life is a bit hectic! BUT, I hope to bring some light and laughter to your day with some relatable mom comedy and inspire you to love who YOU are and embrace the real YOU. It’s certainly been a minute since I shared anything about my skincare so I figured what better time than now?!

Needless to say, this was not how I expected bubs surgery day to go….🤦‍♀️😂🫣

In my defense, I also hadn’t eaten since breakfast, it was now 3pm and my anxiety and general mom worry certainly added to this happening 😔

BUT, very thankful for the AMAZING nurse we had because she was an angel and amde sure bubs was good and then became my nurse. She was the real MVP of today! 👏🙌✨

So thankful bubs surgery went well minus my mom fail at the end. The doc did have to do some repair to his sinus cavity because one of the top teeth were so far rooted to the area, but overall doc said he was a great patient and now we are home for recovery! 🙏🏻

PS: I use the words “like”, “um”, and “and” wayyy too much 😂🫣 working on it though!

🙌🙌FIND YOUR “CIRCLE”🙌🙌

Friendship can be like a game of monopoly. Sometimes you’re winning and sometimes you’re not, BUT what matters is who shows up no matter what hand you’re dealt. ❤️

KEEP THOSE WHO SHOW UP CLOSE.

I’ll tell you first hand I have NOT always been a good friend. I have been selfish at times, overwhelmed at others, and even nonexistent for some. BUT… I have always acknowledged when I haven’t been a good friend and learn from it as I continue to grow. 👏

Sometimes, at no fault of your own, a friendship has simply “run its course” and to no fault of anybody’s.

I am finding that the more I reflect my authentic self, the smaller my “circle” seems to get, and not because of something negative, but sometimes those close to you just no longer relate on the same level of growth you are reflecting. And that’s OKAY! 😌

Move forward. Understand that you are not alone in gaining and losing friends; but most of all know that your worth and value as a friend is not measured by how big your circle is, because there is nothing to measure.

Simply show up when you can, cheer loudly at every win even when you aren’t winning, be your authentic self, and be quiet when it’s time to just listen. 🥰

I am very thankful for the “circle” I do have and a goal of mine for 2023 is to really be more present with them, make time, listen quietly, and cheer even louder at every WIN! ☺️❤️
