When most people think of lenticular images, they think of images on plastic cards that shift as you tilt them. But what if you could create a similar effect with screen printing?

You can!

In our interview, Kieth Stevens shares:

• What ink innovation made the lenticular effect possible
• How the idea first came to him
• Why he believed it could work

Using a combination of High Density and Gel inks, Kieth developed a technique that creates a striking lenticular effect - adding depth, movement, and surprise to printed apparel.

The possibilities range from subtle logo enhancements to intricate designs that reveal two completely different images depending on the viewing angle.

Save Time. Save Energy. Keep Printing!

Printers often face a difficult choice when deciding on a color mixing system: Choose low cure inks to protect polyester and heat-sensitive fabrics…Or choose production efficiency.

With UltraMix®, you can have both. What truly sets UltraMix® 7500 Series Pantone® Mixing System apart is how it performs on press.

Its smooth formulation prints exceptionally well wet-on-wet, without the underside screen buildup that often causes production delays with other ink systems.

The benefits are simple:

Lower curing temperatures to protect sensitive garments.
Wet-on-wet capability
No buildup.
Fewer cleaning interruptions.
Reduced energy usage.
Faster production.
Because advanced ink technology should remove limitations — not create them.

Polyester and blended fabrics often require lower cure temperatures to reduce the risks of dye migration, shrinkage, and heat-related garment damage.

But production isn’t always that simple. Different inks in the same shop often require different cure temperatures, forcing printers to compromise between performance and efficiency.

That’s where UltraMix® 7500 Series Pantone® Mixing System stands out.

As part of our FlexCure™ technology platform, UltraMix® inks offer a flexible curing range, from 295°F to 325°F (135°C to 165°C), giving printers the freedom to adjust cure temperatures based on the demands of the job.

Printers have better control when printing heat-sensitive fabrics like polyester and poly blends, while still having the ability to use both low-cure and standard-cure ink systems.

An added bonus? Lower cure temperatures help reduce energy consumption during production.

Stop The Money Drain: Downtime is Expensive

Most conversations regarding Pantone® mixing systems focus on color accuracy. And that matters. But there’s another factor many printers overlook - how the ink behaves in production.

Some inks build up underneath the screens during longer print runs.

As buildup increases, print quality suffers. Operators have to stop production, clean the screens, and restart the job. It’s an unnecessary disruption that eats away at productivity.

UltraMix® 7500 Series Pantone® Mixing System minimizes this issue.

Its superior printability helps reduce screen buildup, so operators can stay focused on production instead of stopping to clean screens.

The results -

Uninterrupted print runs
Performance and print consistency
Enhanced shop efficiency
And ultimately, increased bottom line

The biggest advantage isn’t just the color. It’s everything that happens after the press starts running.
