Lately, I’ve been seeing so many graphic tees and themed items, especially with collegiate game day, Dolly Parton inspired pieces, and other pop-culture items.
While they might look trendy, a lot of them use logos, lyrics, or music artists/characters without permission. I want to be 100% transparent with you: we will never carry dupes, knockoffs, or unlicensed merchandise at the boutique.
I want to make a special note about college teams and university logos, because that is a HUGE no for us. Outside of running this boutique, I work full-time in higher education. Because of my professional background, I have direct experience with how these things operate. Collegiate licensing is incredibly strict, and universities protect their brands fiercely.
Selling graphic tees, crewnecks, or anything that uses the likeness, colors, or similarities to a university, trademark or copyrighted phrase/artist/item is strictly prohibited.
Another layer of this integrity involves honoring Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) guidelines set by premium brands. Many independent, high-end vendors that I carry highly protect the value of their products by setting a strict pricing structure. Violating brand rules means risking our account and losing the ability to sell their products entirely.
Thankfully, we have never had any legal or vendor compliance issues, and I plan to keep it that way. I intentionally partner with authentic, high-end, independent brands and small creators who own their work.
Doing business this way ensures everything we offer is fully authorized, respects the hard work of original artists, and keeps our business safe. Thank you all so much for shopping with integrity 💖✨
