Buy A Mask - Make a Difference
Our Purpose: It’s simple. We want to help meet some of the financial needs of our fellow Americans by providing food and other necessities during this time of uncertainty. For each mask purchased, we intend to contribute 50% of the purchase price to helping those in need. The other 50% will go towards the cost of material, thread, elastic, etc. (in other words, the supplies we need to make the masks). And, there is no charge for labor...it’s on us. By purchasing a mask you are helping provide for the needs of others. And, BTW, masks for health care workers and first responders are free. Overview: COST AND MATERIALS The masks are made out of cotton or cotton blend fabrics with elastic to secure the mask around the ears. An adjustable nose piece is inserted to help hold the mask in place. You will receive a removable filter made by Oreck EnviroCare Technologies from 99.7% micro filtration vacuum bags that trap microscopic particles and allergens. (These are subject to availability). The masks are washable and able to go into the dryer on a low setting. Air dry for best results. You also have the option of removing the filter and replacing it with your own filter or requesting no filter. The cost of each mask is $10.00 plus shipping and handling. Please use Venmo (@bj-mcchesney) or Cash App ($BJMcChesney) to submit payment. (See instructions below.) We require payment in full before your order is shipped. If you are in the St. Petersburg/Tampa area, we will be happy to discuss other options for getting your masks to you. Once your mask(s) are finished, we will contact you with the final price to include shipping and handling. We strive to get the mask(s) to you as quickly as possible. We can usually ship them out within a day or two, depending on the number of masks ordered and how many are in our queue. COLOR CHOICE We have a wide selection of colors and patterns to choose from. Please let us know your color preference, and we will send you some choices via text or email.
