Hire someone who is aligned with where you’re headed—not just where you are.

Too many people choose mentors based on hype, popularity, or convenience. That’s backwards. Alignment matters more than visibility. If they’re not operating at (or beyond) the level you aspire to reach, they can’t effectively guide you there.

Do your research. A real business mentor should have a real business—one that demonstrates ex*****on, results, and sustainability. Titles don’t build credibility. Track records do.

Be intentional about who you take advice from. The wrong guidance can cost you time, money, and momentum. The right mentor accelerates all three.

You cannot expect transformation while approaching the process casually. The results you want require intention, consistency, and a decision to fully show up.
