✨ Thinking About a Custom Order? ✨

Lady Maillerie’s is a first-year shop, and I am building this dream one ring, one design, and one magical creation at a time. I am currently accepting a limited number of custom orders while balancing faire season, existing commissions, and shop inventory.

Have an idea for a custom piece? Whether you are dreaming of chainmaille jewelry, fantasy accessories, wearable armor, a special color palette, or something completely new, the first step is completing my Custom Order Request Form.

Once your request is submitted, please allow up to one week for me to review it and contact you about design possibilities, materials, pricing, and scheduling.

Estimated Project Turnaround Times

Turnaround begins after the design is approved, the deposit is paid, and all necessary materials have arrived.

✨ Small Projects: Approximately 2–4 weeks
Examples may include bracelets, earrings, pendants, simple accessories, or smaller modifications to an existing design.

⚔️ Medium Projects: Approximately 4–8 weeks
Examples may include crowns, circlets, shoulder pieces, detailed accessories, custom sets, or moderately complex wearable pieces.

🐉 Large or Highly Detailed Projects: Approximately 8–16 weeks or longer
Examples may include harnesses, armor, large statement pieces, intricate costumes, experimental designs, or projects requiring extensive fitting and development.

These are estimated timeframes rather than guaranteed completion dates. Material availability, shipping delays, design revisions, fitting needs, project complexity, and faire-season scheduling may affect the final timeline. If your piece is needed for a specific event, please include that date on the form so I can determine whether the deadline is realistic before accepting the project.

Submitting the form does not require payment or guarantee that I can accept the commission. Once the design, price, and estimated timeline are approved, I will send an invoice. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before materials are ordered or work begins.

Because Lady Maillerie’s is a growing, artist-run shop, I would rather give you an honest timeline and create your piece properly than rush something that deserves care.

Hoist our colors, friends of the realms… ✨

These are the hues flying high for Lady Maillerie’s corner of the faire this season:
shimmering aqua, bold berry pink, deep violet, and a veil of iridescent magic over it all.
A little bit mermaid, a little bit fairy, a little bit “if moonlight got tangled in chainmaille.”

Bright, bold, playful, and impossible to ignore — just the way I like it.

A booth does not simply appear by magic… though a little chainmaille, stubbornness, and one Peacock Knight disguised in civilian clothes and armed with the sacred multitool certainly helps. 🦚⚔️

Yesterday and today, Lady Maillerie’s little corner of the The Great Lakes Medieval Faire went from an empty red-and-cream tent with some extremely fashionable orange straps… to the beginnings of a real marketplace filled with scales, armor, color, and possibility.

It is not completely dressed yet—the booth goblins still have vines to summon, displays to fill, and plenty of shiny treasures to arrange—but standing back and seeing it begin to look like the place I have carried in my imagination was a little emotional.

This is the Field of Dreams becoming real, one table, mannequin, ratchet strap, and helpful set of hands at a time.

Come find Lady Maillerie’s Chainmaille Designs near the Stumbull Inn at GLMF. Look for the colorful chainmaille, the custom-order sign, and hopefully far fewer visible orange straps by opening day. 😂
