Memorial Day is not just a long weekend.
For those of us who served, it’s sacred ground.
Today is for the brothers and sisters who never made it home.
The ones who traded future birthdays, family dinners, sunsets, and dreams for something bigger than themselves.
We remember the empty seats.
The folded flags.
The names etched into stone and carried quietly in our hearts.
Freedom has always come at a cost — and this day is about honoring the ultimate sacrifice paid by America’s fallen warriors.
So before the cookouts and celebrations, take a moment to remember why this day exists.
