A snake save the date for a Virginia estate wedding 🐍

In Victorian symbolism, the snake represents eternal, unending love. So when your couple knows their history AND wants their paper goods to mean something personal? You give them a snake.

Double-thick card stock, painted black edges, custom botanical envelope liners, and hand calligraphy addressing...this is what it looks like when no detail is overlooked.

Hello hello friend!! Let’s talk about the most underrated wedding detail of all time: place cards.

I know, I know—“Do I really need them? Won’t people just… figure it out?” Bestie, no. No, they will not. 😭

Instead, you’ll have guests hovering around tables, trying to make eye contact with their cousin while making panic seating decisions like it’s the first day of school.

✨ But place cards aren’t just about avoiding seating chaos:
- They set the tone for your reception.
- They add that luxury, personal touch (your guests WILL take them home).
- They make your reception photos 10x better.
- And honestly? They make your whole wedding feel put together instead of half-finished.

Bonus tip? When your place cards match your invitation suite, signage, bar menus, and welcome display, everything feels intentional. (AKA: A full calligraphy experience just hits different.)
