A feeling of safeness. This is what you will give your little one if you will answer their needs.

Crying can mean “Change my diaper”, “Feed me”, “Show me you’re here”, or even just “Hug me”

If you listen to your child and give them what they need they will stop checking if you’re there, if you react they will stop needing to be carried non-stop, because they will feel safe.

Baby doesn’t want to manipulate you or rule you, or any of the sophisticated things that we can do as adults, yet we somehow think that a newborn baby also has this intention. Newborn doesn’t know how to communicate its needs yet, so crying is its alarm system. Sometimes that need is just to be close. Babies and older children need a lot of closeness and a sense of security. For proper development and learning, these are overarching needs that must be met.

Roseola Infantum is a disease which affects children between the ages of 6 and 24 months. It usually manifests itself by fever for 3-5 days (fever up to 109F 39.5C). It can be treated with a cold compress and over-the-counter antipyretics, according to the appropriate dosage. If we decide to try to breastfeed and for any reason it doesn’t really work out we are still the
best moms for our children. Noone will ever take that title away from us, because we are heroes, who
tried. Its worth a try. If it doesn’t work out - too bad, but at least we can give ourselves a pat on the
shoulder for the work and courage put into that try. No pressure, no judgment 🤱🏻🫂 New blog post coming out soon ❤️
