Ever wondered what your body is really telling you amidst the hustle of life? 🤔 Toda was a 103 fever that soared that went up to 104, a realization dawned on me. 🌡️

In the silence of rest, I found my body yearning for peace. It's not about battling or blaming, but about understanding and nurturing. I could die tomorrow. It's a clear signal - my body needs care, and so does my spirit. 💆‍♀️🌿

Have you ever felt your body pushing back, urging you to slow down and breathe? How did you respond? I'm choosing to embrace this moment as a reminder to prioritize health and well-being. Because at the end of the day, our health is our true wealth. 💚

“Inthe midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer”.” Albert Camus. This is more than a fever; it's a journey back to myself that is going to be a long walk. 🌞🌻

To those out there feeling overwhelmed, remember, it's okay to pause and heal. Your body and soul deserve it. Let's share our stories and be each other's . 🤗

How do you find peace in the chaos of life? Let's inspire each other. 💬👇"

It's Monday evening, and here's the hard truth: I've died. Twice. 4/16/16 and 1/21/2017, my heart stopped beating. I have a cardiac surgeon who I never met until later….. 🖤

Loss brings a flood of emotions, and not the kind that fit neatly into inspirational quotes or motivational speeches. It's gritty, it's dark, and it's real. ⚫

I'm often asked about lessons learned, about silver linings. But some things when you are rejected and every single fear (that you shared with your parents) about abandonment, like now, there are no lessons or silver linings. Just the stark reality of what was and what could have been. 🌑

Dealing with family who don't care, who maybe even resent my survival, adds another layer of complexity to this twisted journey. Ever felt misunderstood by those closest to you? 🤐

Just like I documented dad, I'm not here to inspire. I'm here to just be. To acknowledge the pain, the confusion, and the loneliness that comes with experiences like mine. If you've been through something similar, know that you're not alone in this darkness. Mothers do not always love. They damage and destroy

Sometimes, it's okay if the only thing you did today was breathe." - Unknown.

“In Germany they came first for the Communists,

and I didn't speak up
because I wasn't a Communist.

Then they came for the Jews,

and I didn't speak up
because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for the trade unionists,

and I didn't speak up
because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Catholics,

and I didn't speak up
because I was a Protestant.

Then they came for me,
and by that time no one was left to speak up for me.”

Have you ever thought about this? My Great aunt is here. . . My father will also be here as he served his country (most dont even know this or that he was a police officer in his “spare” time) before all the amazing things he did in the community. . . Most of his acts are already not known because he was a silent, private man and didn’t talk about all the amazing things he did and accomplished. So maybe my FB will be seen in hundreds of years so the world WILL know. So I’m not sorry that I keep sharing

He built theatre sets. He worked multiple jobs yet even with my crazy memory, he was NEVER not there. Every theater opening, every swim meet, every holiday. . . I learned when i was older that he would even drive ALL NIGHT to help truckers out to make his Whitehouse Presto Whip company succeed

He made the most beautiful stained glass. . .. cutting and soldering while i looked on and he would hold my tiny hand and let me feel like I was helping instead of probably messing up his immaculate lines. The tribute that sticks with me is from a HS friend as we always built the floats in our driveway and yea, dad had to help with actual construction while the guys played football with our dachsund, Lady (she was a tough girl) . . . Christine Yang Ro said, “he brought us sandwiches”. . . It’s that simple. He was a kind Man

In 100 years like in 2123 we will all be buried with our relatives and friends.

Strangers will live in our homes we fought so hard to build, and they will own everything we have today. All our possessions will be unknown and unborn, including the car we spent a fortune on, and will probably be scrap, preferably in the hands of an unknown collector.

Our descendants will hardly or hardly know who we were, nor will they remember us. How many of us know our grandfather's father?

After we die, we will be remembered for a few more years, then we are just a portrait on someone's bookshelf, and a few years later our history, photos and deeds disappear in history's oblivion. We won't even be memories.

If we paused one day to analyse these questions, perhaps we would understand how ignorant and weak the dream to achieve it all was.

If we could only think about this, surely our approaches, our thoughts would change, we would be different people.

Always having more, no time for what's really valuable in this life. I'd change all this to live and enjoy the walks I've never taken, these hugs I didn't give, these kisses for our children and our loved ones, these jokes we didn't have time for. Those would certainly be the most beautiful moments to remember, after all they would fill our lives with joy.

And some of us waste it day after day with greed, selfishness and intolerance.

Every minute of life is priceless and will never be repeated, so forgive, love, let go, be grateful for, and celebrate your existence because it’s fleeting

ABOUT TIME, although she SHOULD have been fired. I would be EMBARRASSED to let my children go to any of these schools. It Is NOT constitutional to incite violence. Heck even the Bots on FB suspend you for less than this!!!

With holidays coming up, remember that these days can be incredibly hard for some people. So, be kind and demonstrate empathy!❤️

DEPRESSION TIPS:

Shower. Not a bath, a shower.
Use water as hot or cold as you like. You don’t even need to wash. Just get in under the water and let it run over you for a while. Sit on the floor if you gotta.

Moisturize everything.
Use whatever lotion you like.
Unscented? Dollar store lotion? Fancy 48 hour lotion that makes you smell like a field of wildflowers? Use whatever you want, and use it all over your entire dermis.

Put on clean, comfortable clothes.

Put on your favorite underwear.
Those ridiculous boxers you bought last christmas with candy cane hearts on the butt? Put them on.

Drink cold water.
Use ice. If you want, add some mint or lemon for an extra boost.

Clean something.
Doesn’t have to be anything big. Organize one drawer of a desk. Wash five dirty dishes. Do a load of laundry. Scrub the bathroom sink.

Blast music.
Listen to something upbeat and dancey and loud, something that’s got lots of energy. Sing to it, dance to it, even if you suck at both.

Make food.
Don’t just grab a granola bar to munch. Take the time and make food. Even if it’s ramen. Add something special to it, like a soft boiled egg or some veggies. Prepare food, it tastes way better, and you’ll feel like you accomplished something.

Make something.
Write a short story or a poem, draw a picture, color a picture, fold origami, crochet or knit, sculpt something out of clay, anything artistic. Even if you don’t think you’re good at it. Create.

Go outside.
Take a walk. Sit in the grass. Look at the clouds. Smell flowers. Put your hands in the dirt and feel the soil against your skin.

Call someone.
Call a loved one, a friend, a family member, call a chat service if you have no one else to call. Talk to a stranger on the street. Have a conversation and listen to someone’s voice. If you can’t bring yourself to call, text or email or whatever, just have some social interaction with another person. Even if you don’t say much, listen to them. It helps.

Cuddle your pets if you have them/can cuddle them.
Take pictures of them. Talk to them. Tell them how you feel, about your favorite movie, a new game coming out, anything.

May seem small or silly to some, but this list keeps people alive.

*** At your absolute best you won’t be good enough for the wrong people. But at your worst, you’ll still be worth it to the right ones. Remember that. Keep holding on.

*** In case nobody has told you today I love you and you are worth your weight and then some in gold, so be kind to yourself and most of all keep pushing on!!!!

Find something to be grateful for!

May I please get 2 friends or family members to copy and re-post? I am trying to demonstrate that someone is always listening.

Just two. Any two.
Say done.

Thank you, Autumn Elizabeth Sousanis

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🍂 Today is a day to embrace gratitude 🙏🏼, even in the quietest moments. If you find yourself alone, remember that solitude can also be a sanctuary of peace and reflection. Amidst any tears 😭 or pain, there's a unique strength in acknowledging the blessings we do have.

In the quiet moments, discoveries are made. Be thankful for the journey, not just the destination." 🍁🌟

Let's ask ourselves: What am I grateful for today? How can these moments of solitude enrich my journey.

This Thanksgiving, may your ♥️ be filled with warmth and your spirit lifted by the small yet significant joys around you. 🍁

Gratitude turns what we have into enough. 🌟💭
