Let's get straight to it!
Currently, across the country there are 9 League Champions in Tier 1. How do they fare against other league champions when you dig deep and check out the numbers? Here is the REALITY
#1 New Jersey Silverbacks- BEFL🦍
Sitting at 10-0 the Silverbacks have boasted the best Performance Rating out of all current Tier 1 Champions at a 1.50. on average, this team outscored opponents 25-3. 1 big win over the New York Greenwave and 2 wins over the New England Golden Lions proves they are ready to compete with anyone. Flashy Offense with a MVP caliber QB and stout defense puts this squad stop current league champions. What is next for these guys? Do they prove they run the East? Or do they take a bid to nationals without proving they are even the best in their region?🤔
#2 Phoenix Phantoms- AAAFL☠️
A perfect 12-0, a season of dominance. The Phantoms Performance Rating comes just under the Silverbacks at 1.49! The Phantoms were the only team on this list currently that dared play outside of their league. The Phantoms have a primetime match set up in the "Pacific National Championship" against the CFCA Champions the Capital City Seminoles.
#3 Capital City Seminoles- CFCA🪶
10-0 on the season, the Seminoles have escaped their league unscathed as well! A little bit further under they sit at a 1.44 Performance Rating. In the CFCA Championship, the Noles completely dismantled a solid 8-2 Beach City Giants team 28-12. The Seminoles play the Phantoms in the "Pacific National Championship."
#4 Collin County Crash- TUFL🦏
Wrapping up their season at 10-1, the Crash avenged their only loss to the North Texas Rams by double digits. The Performance Rating they have earned this far sits at 1.35. What's next for this Texas squad? Should they play another Texas champion?🤔
#5 East Coast Cardinals- NEFL🐦🔥
The Cards did what was asked of them, they won out and got the NEFL Trophy, ending at 9-0! With a Performance Rating at 1.39, they were put slightly under the Crash due to being the only Tier 1 team in their league. Do the Cards prove they could be the best in the East? Or do they just take an auto bid without proving they are the best in the east?🤷
#6 Iredell Warriors- CEFA⚔️
The first 2 loss champions listed here, the Warriors are battle tested. The Warriors Opponents win percentage is the highest of this list at 54%, while still boasting a 1.19 Performance Rating! The best win for this squad was over one of the most known out there, the Fayetteville Ducks by a score of 18-16! What is the next battle for this squad?
#7 Carolina Kings- AFF🦁
This champion played their games closer than the others on this list with an Average Point Differential of +10. Having a performance rating of 1.15 puts this squad under the Iredell Warriors, but still not the bottom of the group of champions. Is there another game for this team before nationals?
#8 Wilmington Wolfpack- NEAFL🐺
Also a 2 loss champion, the Wolfpack played in a league where at the end, could have been theirs, the Unit or the Militias. With a Performance Rating of 1.19, this squad only finds themselves at #8 due to having a higher percentage of their schedule being repeat opponents!
#9 High Desert Rams- CFU🐐
At 9-2, many were surprised that they came out of this league victorious, the other many however, were not surprised! With the lowest Performance Rating of the group at 1.05, it was warranted to place them here. What is next for the CFU crown?
As championships are earned, this will be updated! A handful will be crowned this weekend!!
