The “EVERYTHING TOGETHER” couple.

Such a joy to service this couple. Our initial meeting was with both Chris & Marissa~ together, each decision considered and determined. An admiral way (I must say) to enter into this marriage.

With each step of the process, all communication was reviewed by both and approved or denied.

I’ll never forget the Marissa smile that lit up the screen on our initial meeting.
The absolute conviction in “Olive Branch” only… with the smallest touches of florals was definitely a new one for us.
(I must admit… I was a bit skeptical)

But this totally organic request in the mountains was the most original and appropriate.

I was so pleasantly surprised at the beautiful outcome in the Brides decision to forgo any florals in her personal bouquet, the earthy greenery and touches of lavender , leaning into the woodsy setting at the Stone House.

This is definitely one for our books and we are so grateful for this organic design challenge.
It’s one I have tucked into our repertoire for any future naturalist.

Running Dear Golf & Country Club

It’s no secret I love servicing our service workers.
Kyla, a teacher reached out to us with a very strict (and admiral) budget.
We planned and designed her vision, while maintaining a conscious alignment with her budget.

After a few go arounds of adding and subtracting (a tedious and detailed task) we nailed it.

1 month prior to the big day, and after all financials were worked out… Kyla was able to expand the flower vision to meet all of her ceremony space dreams.

We were so honored to work with this couple to ensure their vision and budget remained our priority while maximizing our options for each product and space design objective.

Erin & Cody… our long distance couple.
All details of this beautiful design and special day were meticulously executed all between Nashville and Nee Jersey.

Erin came to us after seeing our work with a former bride Eagle Oaks Country Club
One of our most valued lead is when our work is showcased by venues and by other vendors. A collaborative kindness within the industry to support each other as artists, vendors and venues.

The process is more fluid and the fundamental element of a trusting vendor/client relationship is grounded from the start.

This process with our out of state couple was simplified by the power of social media and gracious credit of our work displayed in this marketing space.

Nick and Colleen.

The 1st of a double hitter week and set the stage for an incredible Petals and Peace accomplishment.

In rewind~ this pallet gave me all the feels. Reminding Mr. Mike and I of our first born baby girl nursery.

When Colleen, (an undisclosed event planner-YIKES!) first reached out to me… she was slightly conflicted with pallet but quickly realized the combination of pastel yellow and pink was not very common, yet absolutely breathtaking.
Not to mention one of my favs (for obvious reason)

As this design and pallet came to life, it re enforced a magical yet elegant vision brought to life in a breathtaking space.

The venue campus left no page unturned and was the perfect backdrop for such elegance.

We wish you many many years of health, happiness and love.

If your new here…
Welcome to my Peace. Petals & Peace by• Mell Berks Florals & Events
is approaching our 3 yr. Anniversary and we are so grateful for all of the support and encouragement to keep going. We are humbled by the work that God has bestowed upon us and the life that has arose from standing in my truth. Many of you know me. A resigned ER Nurse, turned Wedding and Event Florist. As we enter our 3rd year in business, I cannot help but to reflect on so many blessing.
We have learned and grown so much and continue to expand. We are growing and blooming (as flowers do) 2027 is bringing on more clients, larger design packages and now planning and event Coordination.
