New to Memory Bears are "Baby Bears". $40.00 These are smaller than Memory Bears and made from any baby sleeper or outfit AND a receiving blanket (or 1/2 yard of any fabric) You Can see examples of Baby Bears in the "Baby Bear" Album. Photos and embroidery are NOT possible on some Baby Bears. There are Photo Albums on the page dedicated to style on the page.
2. What kind of clothes can be used? Fabrics that run, like nylon blouses don't work to well, the fabric can run and ruin the bear. Open knit sweater can also unravel. Most popular are T-shirts, polo shirts, dress shirts, denim, khakis and similar fabrics.
3. How many bears can I get from one shirt? OR How much clothing do I need for a bear? The answer to the first part is One Bear per shirt, I use a lot of details from the clothing such as collars or belt loops, to make more than one bear from one article of clothing limits the creativity. Part two of the question: How much clothing you need depends on how you want the bear to look. A basic bear can be made from just a T-shirt, where a Deluxe Bear can be an entire outfit.
4. Are the bears made from something else and just dressed in the clothing I send? No. Each Memory-Bear is treated as an individual. The pattern from the bear is cut from the clothing itself. They are not only made from the clothing, but made to look like they are wearing the clothing. The only thing I add is buttons for eyes (when the original clothing buttons won't work) and polyester fiberfill to stuff them with.
5. How long does it take to get my bears back? This depends on the size if your order and how many orders are ahead of you. Basically anywhere from 2-6 weeks. I keep my customers up to date by text or email as to when their order has been started and shipped.
6. How do I order? I have Drop-Off Locations in Effingham and Cisne, IL. If you're in these areas you can print an "Order Form", (also available in the Documents Album). Fill out an order form for each Memory Bear, calculate your total, and drop off your order, with payment at a drop off location. (Please send pm for drop off location in your area) I DO NOT accept orders without payment. If you're unsure of the style of bear you'd like to order you can pm me for a consultation.
7. How do I mail order? To mail order, print an "Order Form (also available in the Documents album)
Fill out an order form for each Memory Bear, calculate your total, ( shipping charges below) write your return shipping info on the back of the order form and mail your order, with payment, to the address below. RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES: One Bear $9.00 Each additional Memory-Bear $2.00

9. I want several bears. Can I get a discount? Every Memory-Bear is individually hand-made. I can not give discount on multiple orders.
10. How Big Are Memory Bears? Memory Bears are meant to be displayed in a sitting position and are 12" sitting and 17" standing
11. Why don't Memory Bears have noses? Memory Bears are Victorian Style Bears and I do not add noses to them. HOWEVER, if you wish for your bears to have noses, I will add them for a $5 charge.
