When I tell y’all I ignored half this bride’s ideas… I mean it. 😭😂

Before y’all come for me, hear me out.

This beautiful bride came to me wanting Air Max bridal shoes and baby, she had VISION. Pearls, bling, lace, flowers, a bow, her name, touches of red… the list kept growing.

Now my goal is ALWAYS to give my customers what they want, but my job is also to make sure the final product looks amazing. Sometimes every idea doesn’t belong on the same shoe. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I actually bought lace, put it on the shoe, stared at it for a few minutes and immediately took it right back off. The bow got cut. The name got cut. A few other ideas got cut too. 😂

At some point I had to stop overthinking, trust my creativity, and remember that less is sometimes more.

The result? A happy bride, a beautiful custom design, and a reminder that trusting your designer can make all the difference. ❤️

Maybe it’s just me, but if I’m spending my money on supplies, I care what I’m selling to my customers. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I saw someone say, “I don’t care what I use as long as the money hits the bank.”

Whew. 😬

Listen, I want the money to hit the bank too, but I also want my customers to be happy when they open their package. Quality, customer satisfaction, and getting paid should all go hand in hand.
