BEANLAND! "Doretha" Oxford, MS (not sure the year) From the doc "Rising from the Riverbed"

I really like George McConnell but I can't say I miss him as the lead for Widespread Panic, except maybe in the latter part of his tenure when you had a good chance to see John Keane sitting in as well. However, those were some fun times for me, so listening to shows from that era can become a bit nostalgic.

I'd love to see old Guitar George play with Beanland though!

Just before Widespread Panic hired Jimmy Herring, a buddy of mine had some George McConnell bobble heads in the works that sang 🎵Doreatha🎵 when you tapped the head lol.

So Ken Kesey, the LEGEND, a legit GOAT. If you have ever watched or listened to a Ken Kesey speech, or had the honor to have seen him ive, then you already know, the guy was all over the place. Ken will be on one topic and BAM something, a word, image, an audience member will send his mind somewhere completely elsewhere, unfortuatly I am incredibly similar.
Enjoy this first 6 minutes fom a speech at the Universith of Virginia on April 26, 1998 I posted more of it back in the day. If enough enjoy it and want to see more, I will be gladly to post it
