Hey, can I just talk for a minute?
Let's talk about racism and prejudism within the Body of Christ. I am not talking about these behaviours in the sinner man who are of the world. That's a given because satan is the prince (ruler) of this world and he is full of hate, evil, and wickedness. But, I am talking about the "Elect, born again believers, set apart, the called out, Saints of God who make up the Household of Faith!"
I want to remind us, that Jesus is LOVE and He LOVES EVERYONE (John 3:16). He is not willing that any should perish but that ALL should come to repentence (2 Peter 3:9). He also gave us a commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:39).
Jesus wasn't finished, because He said the same exact thing in a different book of the bible (Mark 12:31). But wait, Hebrews 13:1-2 tells us also to "Let brotherly love continue. 2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
Lastly, in Matthew 5:44, Jesus made it very clear what we should concerning our enemies. He tells us to:
1. Love your enemies
2. bless them that curse you
3. do good to them that hate you
4. pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you!
We may not like it, but THESE are the things we are REQUIRED to do even when we are hated by other races, cultures, ethnic groups, etc.
Out of obedient to my Father and what I have personally observed is that the hate between whites/blacks, blacks/whites, blacks/blacks, whites/whites, asians/blacks, blacks/asians, hispanics/blacks, blacks/hispanics and so forth (I am sure you get the point) has really saturated through the Body of Christ. But, we as the Children of Jesus are to show ourselves friendly (Proverbs 18:24) and love souls for He is LOVE. They belong to God (Ezekiel 18:4).
I admonish all of us to again examine our walk with the Lord and make sure that our manner of conversation (lifestyle) is that of Holiness according to His standard (1 Peter 1:15-16), that our live is in alignment with His Word (Exodus 20:1-17), and that we are NOT giving room for the devil to seperate us from the LOVE OF GOD (Romans 8:35-39)! God bless you and let's prepare to meet Him!
