Walter is now complete after months of working on his portrait off and on. He is a legend in his community in the mountains of California. He owned a home but preferred to live on the streets and teach and help his neighbors in any way he could. I had a chance meeting with him six years ago and we chatted and I asked if I could photograph him so I could paint his portrait and he agreed. This is my way of telling his story and I hope he would be pleased.
