Inspired by nature look, did you give it a try?! I’d love to know!

Sometimes the best color inspiration is right outside your door. Flowers, sunsets, gardens, even the colors of the lake can give you combinations you may have never thought to put together.

Take a look around and let nature inspire an outfit this week. You might be surprised by what you already have in your closet!

Did you try it? Tell me what colors inspired you!

We all have those “someday” pieces in our closets.

“I’ll wear this dress someday.”
“I’m saving this for the right occasion.”
“I love it… I just don’t know what to wear with it.”

And then someday never seems to come.

Sometimes it’s because the piece doesn’t really fit your personal style. Sometimes it doesn’t work with anything else you own. And sometimes we bought it because we loved it on the hanger, saw someone else wearing it, or thought it was too good of a deal to pass up.

That’s how clothes can become one-and-done pieces—or worse, never-worn pieces.

Take a look through your closet this week and find your “someday” pieces. Try them on. See if you can style them with what you already own.

If you love it, find a way to wear it.
If you don’t, maybe it’s time to let it go.

Your wardrobe should be filled with clothes that work for the life you’re living right now, not the life you might live someday.

Go with what you know and start with a classic!

Grab your favorite white tee — your best white, of course — and pair it with your favorite summer bottoms. Denim shorts, a skirt, casual shorts, or lightweight linen pants all work.

Now, take a look in the mirror and ask yourself: How can I make this feel more like ME?

Try a fun belt. Tuck in your tee. Add jewelry you love. Drape a lightweight layer over your shoulders. Sometimes the smallest details are what turn a simple outfit into your outfit.

You don’t always need something new. Sometimes you just need a new way to style what you already have.

Let your style shine this week! I’d love to see how you take a classic look and make it your own.

Nature already knows how to put an outfit together.

Look at the colors around you.

The purple of a flower.
The green of the leaves.
The warm tan of the earth and stone.
Even the soft neutrals in the background.

They all live together beautifully in nature — so why not try them together in your wardrobe?

I used this little purple flower as inspiration and started playing with the colors.

Purple + olive + tan.
Olive + denim + purple.
A soft neutral dress + green + a pop of purple.

Same inspiration. Completely different outfits.

And notice — you don’t have to wear every color in equal amounts. Purple can be the shirt, the shoes, the handbag, or simply a small accessory. That’s what makes getting dressed fun.

Next time you’re wondering, “What color can I wear with this?” look outside. Nature might already have the answer.

Save this for the next time you need a little outfit inspiration.

Influenced vs. Inspired — which are you?

There’s a BIG difference.

Being influenced can look like:
Seeing it. Loving it. Clicking the link. Buying it.

And then… wondering why you never actually wear it.

Being inspired is different.

You see an outfit you love and think:
“I already have something similar.”
“That color would work beautifully with my wardrobe.”
“I could recreate that look with pieces I own.”
“That would actually fit my lifestyle.”

Inspiration gives you ideas.
Influence can give you more stuff.

And buying without a plan can quickly become a habit — especially when we’re constantly seeing new outfits, trends and “must-have” pieces online.

Before you buy, ask yourself:

Do I have somewhere to wear this?
Can I style it with at least 3 things I already own?
Does it work with my colors, my style and my lifestyle?
Would I still want it if I hadn’t just seen someone else wearing it?

You can absolutely love fashion, follow trends and enjoy shopping. The goal isn’t to stop being inspired.

It’s to stop letting someone else’s wardrobe build yours.

Be inspired. Then make it your own.

And if you’re ready to create a wardrobe with a little more intention, I’d love to help you find the colors, pieces and style that work for YOU.

Sunday Inspiration

Nature really does know how to put colors together!

This week, take a little inspiration from the colors around you. Pick a flower, a sunset, your garden—anything that catches your eye—and use those colors to inspire an outfit.

Try pairing two colors you normally wouldn’t wear together. You might be surprised by how much you love the combination!

Your wardrobe should be fun. Experiment, play with color, and don’t overthink it.

What two colors are you going to try this week?

Before adding something new to your wardrobe, take a moment to see what you already have.

How many pairs of jeans do you own?
How many dresses?
How many tops?
How many of those pieces do you actually wear?

Write the numbers down. Seeing everything on paper can be eye-opening. You may discover that you already have more than enough in one category while another area of your wardrobe could use a little attention.

A thoughtful wardrobe isn’t about owning more—it’s about owning pieces that work for you, your lifestyle, and your color palette. Knowing what you have is the first step toward shopping with intention instead of impulse.

I’d love to know… were you overwhelmed or underwhelmed when you took inventory?

If you’re ready to build a wardrobe that feels effortless and truly reflects you, I’d love to help. Message me to learn more about Color Analysis and Personal Styling.

Have a great week! 🌻

Sometimes life takes over, and somewhere along the way, we lose a little of ourselves. I know, because I’ve been there.

Maybe you don’t feel like leaving the house. Maybe you don’t want to be seen. Or maybe you do want to be seen, but somehow you still feel invisible.

The clothes you wear won’t change who you are, but they can help reflect the beautiful person you’ve always been. When you’re wearing colors, styles, and pieces that truly feel like you, confidence has a way of shining through naturally.

If you’ve been feeling lost in your style, I’d love to help you find your way back. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Sometimes the first step isn’t buying a new wardrobe. It’s simply rediscovering yourself.

If this speaks to you, send me a message. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your style journey.

This week, give yourself permission to wear one of your favorite pieces.

Maybe it’s the dress you’ve been saving for a special occasion. Maybe it’s a statement necklace, a colorful scarf, or that accessory that always makes you smile. If you need a reason to wear it, make one. Meet a friend for coffee, go out to dinner, or simply enjoy feeling like your best self while running errands.

Beautiful clothes aren’t meant to stay hidden in the closet waiting for “someday.” They were meant to be worn, enjoyed, and to remind you how good you feel when you’re wearing something you love.

Life happens in the everyday moments. Dress for them.

I’d love to know what your favorite piece is. Tell me in the comments, and if you wear it this week, tag me so I can cheer you on.
