Got something new for ya'll in the works!

We are designing a new style of boot for the ones who live on their feet, in their boots, and have done so their whole lives.

Our recent addition of lasts are giving us capabilities to produce some things that need to be created in place of the yearly $100 chinesium work boot. And thats exactly what we are going to do.

When that work day gets to that 12th, 14th or 18th hour, you shouldnt be focused on ripping your boots off.

Keep your eyes peeled in the next couple weeks, we have been excited to make this one for a loooong time!

WE DO NOT SELL HEYDUDES!

Unfortunately it seems that i need to address this due to the volume of upset people mistaking us for a different company.

We make custom handmade boots made to order only, resoles, rebuilds and repairs, in Colfax, Wa.

There is a company called "Frontier boots" dropshipping falsely advertised heydudes from China. That is not us.

We have reported this company several times and are hoping that the confusion stops soon as i do not sell outside of this area.

On that note, if your tired of Chinese crap too, shoot us a message and we can get you measured up for a pair of 100% American and still handmade boots!

We have a question! How do we feel about bringing back something like saddle shoes?

Been poking around working patterns for cowboys today and also on this rough design and figured id just ask!

Super great news and important announcement!

Firstly and most importantly, due to overwhelming request, we now have full capability to build cowboy boots! We also recieved enough lasts to create upwards to 10 new styles of boots and shoes in several variations!

Thanks to our friend down in Boise, ID, known as The Shoe Guy, a master shoe repairman and shoemaker, has selected us to pass the torch of shoemaking and help us move this to the next level!

It is with great humility and pride that we move forward into the future with the blessings of (some of) our shoemaking forefathers. And to Warren, thank you brother. We will do as you wish, and is our duty as shoemakers of the next generation to make these count.

Stay tuned folks, as a good friend and mentor of mine once said "things are going to be interesting!"

Id like to share something with you guys!

This is a poem called "IF" by Rudyard Kipling. It holds a special place in my heart, especially in the ups and downs of the journey of shoemaking and life throughout the years. Enjoy!

We see and thank you all for all the support and excitement for Bootmaking on the Palouse and we are both humbled and motivated!

Every pair is made to order, so due to increased interest and enthusiasm, our lead time from the day you meet us to the day you put your boots on is 4-6 weeks!
