Prairie City friends, hear me out 👀 I've got nothing booked next Friday night during Prairie Days (July 24), and now my brain is doing the thing where it comes up with ideas. 😂

What if I did a Prairie Days flash night from 4:30-9:00pm with a sheet that's actually inspired by Prairie City? I know the theme is Stars, Stripes, and Prairie Days Lights, so patriotic is a must, but I was also thinking all things that make you think of home, Prairie Days, small-town Iowa, local landmarks... you get the idea.

They'd all be the same size (roughly 1-1.5”), 20-minute appointments, $60 each, and I'd open online booking Monday or Tuesday if enough people are interested.

So... what would you want to see on the sheet? 👀 Throw me all your ideas in the comments! If enough people are into it, I'll start drawing this week and see if we can make it happen. 💙

🇺🇸 I hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July weekend! Hopefully it was filled with good food, cold drinks, big fireworks... and hopefully everyone is still walking around with all ten fingers. 😂

With the 250th birthday of America behind us, I wanted to announce something that's been on my heart for a while. From here on out, Tats by Court will be offering a permanent 10% military discount for active duty, reserves, veterans, and military spouses. It's a small way to say thank you for the sacrifices made by our service members and their families. Just bring an ID for proof of service at your appointment.

I also think I'm finally caught up on messages! If you've reached out and haven't heard back from me, please shoot me another message. Between work, family, and life, there's always a chance one slipped through the cracks, and I never want anyone to feel ignored.

Lastly, thank you all for your patience lately. In this season of life, it truly means more than you know. I've got more flash designs in the works, and I'll be sharing them soon, so stay tuned! 🤍

After much thought and prayer, I’ve decided to take a step back from work for the summer.

My kids are only young once, and I want to be fully present for this season with them. I’m taking some time away from appointments and business responsibilities to focus on family, rest, reflection, and where God is leading me next.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my business over the years. I appreciate your understanding and look forward to embracing this season of life.
