Results are in and WOW 😭💙 This washout is a mermaid’s dream.

One little trick I used while dyeing this delicate crochet top was laying a T-shirt underneath it. It gave me a larger, more stable work surface so I could spread the top out without stretching or pulling at the crochet. It also gave me more control when creating my resist lines, which was especially important with something this delicate.

I wanted the dye pattern to feel intentional while still letting the dye melt do its thing, and I’m OBSESSED with how it turned out. 🧜‍♀️✨
