Are you streaming my featuring THE amazing ?! It’s about my trip to california to record my music with at and finding out that I LOVE Malibu but I still LOVE Mississippi too! Did y’all know they don’t have sweet tea everywhere like we do in Mississippi?! 😱 Thank goodness that is in the grocery stores in California too, so I survived! But my producer made fun of me about my sweet tea addiction, so it had to make it into the song! 💖

2026 Jimmie Rodgers Talent Competition Finalists Announced!

We’re excited to introduce the finalists for the 2026 Jimmie Rodgers Talent Competition, part of America’s longest-running music festival!

This year’s finalists include six Youth Division artists and six Adult Division artists, selected from an incredible group of submissions.

Finalists were chosen in two ways:
People’s Choice– the top three entries in each division based on Facebook reactions
Jimmie’s Choice– three additional finalists in each division selected by our judges

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every contestant who participated this year. By sharing your music and talent, you’re helping keep this historic tradition alive and honoring the legacy of Jimmie Rodgers.

Join us Saturday, May 9th, at 11 AM at The MAX (Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience) to see these talented performers compete live on stage.

The winners will earn the honor of opening for Marcus King later that evening on City Hall Lawn!

Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists. We can’t wait to see you compete live!
