"Excuse me, beautiful, but I need to get to court. Can I go ahead of you?" He licks his juicy lips and continues before Moore could say anything. "I'll even buy your coffee too. What would you like?" Moore looks him over up and down quickly before taking a deep breath. Her head automatically started thinking about the song by Tyrese, "On top of me," The brother stood wearing a navy blue Brooks Brother suit that showed off a muscular body, iced out fossil watch, and brown Tom Fords. His long locs were pulled up in a man bun on top of his head. His goatee was shaped up nicely with sides that almost connected. “Damn,” she almost said out loud.
"Hello? Answer him. Chick, tell him a frappe, his number, and him on the side. He sounds fine," Anita laughs as she drags out the last word. She can almost see her standing up to fuss at her with her lean frame wrapped in a bodysuit drinking coffee from her Mrs. Williams cup.
Briefly ignoring her, "Oh, yes," she almost stutters and stops herself. "That would be kind of you. I'll take a frappe, but I can pay for myself.." She pulls some cash out to hand to him.
He pushes her hand away gently. "You look like you can pay, but it's the least I can do for you, allowing me to go ahead of you." She opens her mouth to protest, trying to ignore the electricity that exchanged between them from that brief touch. He puts his finger up as he checks the time on his watch and walks towards the counter.
"Oh my! He's so fine. He's dark skinned, and chocolate is how I like it." Moore turns her back to the counter and sits at a nearby table, crossing her legs. The rain outside starts coming down harder, and she’s sure she heard thunder too.
"Girl, get yourself together. He must be real fine. He has you stuttering, and I’ve never heard you stutter before. Unless you count the time you met that fashion mogul, Fendi.
“Girl, that was a whole mess and embarrassing,” Moore watches as the handsome stranger talks to the barista behind the counter.
