We officially broke ground this morning on our NEW, expanded bocce courts for the 2026 Columbus Italian Festival Bocce Classic! 🎉

More courts. More teams. More bocce. More Italian Festival fun! 🇮🇹🤌

A huge thank you to our Bocce Classic presenting sponsors, Cugini Law and Ciminello's Landscaping, for helping us continue to grow one of the festival’s favorite traditions.

And a special thank you to Cugini and Capoccia Builders Inc., Kurtz Bros Mulch & Soils, and Red Line Landscape Group for their incredible support in making this expansion happen.

The dirt is moving, the courts are coming together, and we can’t wait to see them packed with players this October!

Little Italy Cleveland’s Feast
One of the most iconic Italian-American weekends of the summer! Bocce takes over the neighborhood with a new tournament each day beginning Thursday, while the streets of Murray Hill are packed with iconic vendors, food, music and everything that makes Little Italy special.

Sons of Italy Lodge 2850 — Warren, Ohio
Warren’s best-kept secret is officially out of the bag. This unique setting brings back that classic bocce atmosphere. You'll know what we mean when you get there. Their flighted tournament begins Thursday, with different brackets battling throughout the weekend.

The 14th Annual Carmine L. Cassese Memorial Bocce Tournament is slated for September 17-20, 2026.

As an added bonus and new for this year we will also have a Ladies Edition Tournament (more info to follow on a separate post) on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

It's going to be one heck of a week and one great Championship Sunday.

Registration Opens Friday, August 7th at 5:00PM for the 14th Annual Carmine L. Cassese Memorial Bocce Tournament!

Registration will be online only with credit card payment only.

This will be a 1st come, 1st fully submitted process for tournament spots in each bracket.

📍 Tournament Details
🗓️ Dates: Thursday September 17th to Sunday September 20th

🏅 Entry Fee: $400

👥 Roster: Must have 4 players — no “TBD” accepted

🏆 Format: 4 v 4 Double Elimination, flighted brackets (Thursday - Saturday)

👑 Championship Round: Sunday September 20th.

💰 Payouts:
• Carmstrong Tournament: Champion $10,000 & Runner-Up $5,000 (and of course 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th etc)

One of these years we will make it out to the WORLD SERIES of BOCCE! Unfortunately it always falls on the same weekend as the Lowellville Mt. Carmel festival which is close to home for us!

The biggest tournament of the year is back! The 2026 World Series of Bocce at the Toccolana Club in Rome, NY will be LIVE this weekend on our YouTube channel. Join us to watch 128 Open Division teams and 50 Women’s Division teams battle for the title.

The wait is almost over… the 131st Lowellville Mt. Carmel Italian Festival kicks off THIS WEDNESDAY and we’ll see you there!!

There’s something for everyone all week long:

Wednesday: The Bocce Tournament begins at 6:00 PM, with live coverage starting Thursday, July 16 at 6:00 PM on the Bocce Bros. YouTube channel!

💃 Experience the legendary Baby Doll Dance each night - a tradition!

🃏🍝🎤 Try your luck at Blackjack, the Chuck-a-Luck Wheel, festival games, delicious Italian food, and enjoy live entertainment every day.

🗣️🫱Friday: Don’t miss the always-entertaining Morra Tournament, where fast hands and loud voices create one of the festival’s most exciting traditions.

🎇 Saturday: The week concludes with the championship rounds of the Bocce Tournament, followed by an incredible fireworks show to cap off another unforgettable Mt. Carmel Festival!
