Recreating a mother’s bridal dress for her daughter to wear on her wedding day.

This has been so fun to do. Basically took apart the dress and modernized to fit her daughter it keeping true to its original design.

Just finished the lining and now attaching the top as I sit at the park in my car watching my twins play and my teenager swing while he scrolls on his phone❤️

I cannot wait to show the before and after to this one. It’s taken ALOT of time as well as MANY fittings to a beautiful and patient bride to be

Right now I’m booked into July:)

Please reach out and set up appts with 4 week advance for formal wear and 8-12 weeks on bridal.

Complete bridal reconstructions will take longer depending how many fittings and what is needed.

My daughter saw a shirt she found someone on TT wearing and wanted it. I typically buy for her due to being so busy sewing for clients but we couldn’t find the shirt anywhere. So we made it with fabric I had on hand(so a little different than the picture)

🪡 This past week I was asked to volunteer to teach sewing at a local elementary day.

I was able to teach 220 students, over the span of a school day, how to sew buttons and hand stitch bookmarks 📖

Some kids loved it and brought home extra supplies to continue working while some enjoyed just being with their friends😂❤️

I love being able to help young ones find a joy in sewing that they may not have otherwise found.

Thank you to CSA Lincoln Elementary for doing activities like this so that kids can see and learn all the different things🥰

⭐️⭐️A few new things for the summer and on- I will be taking alterations through the summer⭐️⭐️

This is a private, appointment-only studio. For personal safety and fitting comfort, I reserve the right to limit or decline appointments at my discretion.

As a home-based business, I prioritize a client environment that feels safe and comfortable for me. Thank you for understanding that I may decline appointments that are not a good fit for my business model.

I will only be doing fittings on Monday evenings and Thursday days til 4pm from now on.

I will also be taking on less during the summer so that I can be with my babies and enjoy them while they r available❤️

I am pretty booked into June so please reach out soon if you would like me to help you with your alterations.
