In honor of Juneteenth I wanted to highlight some of the contemporary fiber arts works I saw yesterday at the Currier Art Museum in Manchester! Sanford Biggers pieces feature antique quilts believed to have been used as signposts in the Underground Railroad. You can read more about the works in the photos! Definitely worth a trip to the currier PLUS there are two photography exhibitions going on right now. Happy Juneteenth!

It’s been quiet over here… almost too quiet. In the past week ish we’ve been enjoying the simple joys of life like having to water the garden like three times a day, and of course making lots of art in preparation for market days!! Which by the way is in less than two weeks time!! If you venture downtown during the events you’ll be able to find Kiaya, Dani, Marie, Jo, and other resident DIY artists selling local art, so be sure to come find us (I’ll update closer to the date with our location so we’ll be easier to find) 😉
