Here’s a sneak peek of the new Heathered Collection. It’s not variegated or solid…just a beautiful hybrid of both.

I started by developing the most gorgeous springlike colors and dyeing them in such a way that you get the subtle lighter and darker variations.

For me, it’s the best of both worlds. They can be used as a solid for stranded colorwork or striping. Yet they have enough variety when knit or crochet to have that unique hand dyed look that we love!

Let’s plan a new project!

First of all, I have been drawn to the Harvest Flower Sweater. Every single time I see it, I love it more. However, I don’t want to make another colorwork sweater right now.

So, I purchased the pattern…love to support 😊

Then, I found a pattern for a drawstring bag (free pattern on their website)

The plan is to somehow put the harvest flowers on the drawstring bag. Not sure if this is really feasible or if I’ll epically fail.

Either way, I dyed some yarn and off I go! Keep an eye on my stories for updates!

It’s cast on day! I loved knitting my so much, I purchased another pattern to try.

I’ve been playing with a new dyeing concept. I love knitting with variegated yarn, but I also love knitting stripes and stranded colorwork.

Trying to develop some colorways that read as solid, but still have enough variation to keep the knitting fun!

Love these shades of blue and green. I’ll have to see if it knits up like I hope. More to follow!

Let’s wash my newly knit sweater! 1. After weaving in all the ends, fold into a cute little bundle. 2. Place gently in a basin of cool water with a touch of wool wash. 3. Don’t push it underwater! Let it sit until it’s fully submerged. 4. Pour contents (water and sweater) into the washer. 5. Put on a short spin only cycle to get a good bit of water out of it. 6. Lay it out on your blocking mat, or towel, to completely dry. 7. Wear and enjoy!!! This is my 2nd designed by - Highly Recommend I held 4 strands of Everyday Sock 3 Ultimate Gray and 1 Cotton Candy
