New pieces are hitting the floor every day lately. The closet we bought out that was jam packed with ladies 60's and 70's pieces has required a lot of special laundering processes to get them ready for you. It's true that it's a lot of work...and a lot of trial and error too (we truly are learning every day!). But I cannot describe how fulfilling it is to get these pieces pristine and wearable again for the next decade of their lives. It really does feel like we are acting as archivists in being able to pair clothing that might have been headed to the landfill due to their condition looking a little scary back to people who appreciate them. Especially items that have already survived for 50 years!! How incredibly special. Most of them just need some extra TLC, oxy soaks, minor repairs, spot treatments etc and they're back to themselves.
