When we started Rust & Iron, it was never just about apparel.

It was about doing something that actually mattered.

This week we’re releasing a collaboration collection—a tee, hoodie, and tank—and for this drop, 100% of the proceeds (after our production costs) will go directly to The Overwatch Collective to help provide mental health support for first responders.

No percentages. No gimmicks. Just our costs covered so every dollar possible goes where it belongs.

Some days life feels like the black.

Like the fire has already come through.

Like everything worth holding onto has been burned away.

My name is Clyde.

I’m a husband, a dad, and I’ve been a firefighter/paramedic for over 20 years.

Rust & Iron didn’t start because I wanted to sell T-shirts.

It started after a call late in my career that changed the way I looked at this job and the people who do it.

Like a lot of first responders, I realized we spend our careers taking care of everyone else while often ignoring ourselves.

I wanted to do something that lasted longer than a shift.

That’s why Rust & Iron exists.

Every order helps us support organizations like The Overwatch Collective, providing access to mental health resources for first responders and the people who stand beside them.

Somewhere along the way, we’ve shared a lot of products, trucks, hats, and everyday life—and I love that. But I also realized we’ve drifted a little from the reason this brand was built in the first place.

So if you’re new here… welcome.

This isn’t just apparel.

It’s a reminder that behind every uniform is a real person, and no one should have to carry the weight of this job alone.
