My name is Cory and I am a self taught seamstress. I come from a long line of hand quilters and was always terrified of the sewing machine. During Covid I decided to bring out the sewing machine my mom had given me many moons ago and teach myself to sew. I started with masks, dog bandanas and baby bibs....and it just grew from there. I love trying new things and seeing how it all comes together. And spreading Disney Magic/Pixie dust to people all over the world is such an added bonus.

We’ve had power outages off and on all day today - so I’ve given up on trying to sew while I can. Being mid stitch and the power goes out over and over is so irritating 😩

When we finally get the notice that all is good and fixed I’ll be back at it.

Finished up this super fun set tonight for Ashlee Hedricks. She sent me this beautiful signature fabric to use for order and thankfully I had the signatures in the vinyl to make a matching f***y pack. And of course I had to throw in a Belle signature keychain for the cherry on top 👌🏼

Making a pre-informative post…

I’ve been “in business” for four years and for the first time - starting in January of 2027 - I will be raising my prices.
I’ve been informed by so many of you that I need to charge more - and this is something I also know - I am on the cheaper side for custom made bags.

With the closing of Joann’s (I had one 3 minutes from my house and was there daily) I now have to either drive two hours for fabric or order online … both of those cost me more - - unfortunately
And I am always trying to find you guys the best custom made prints so you can have all the pretty things 🤩

I don’t have a “price sheet” as most of what I make is custom ordered and it all depends on what I use for your order. Cruise backpacks and other cruise bags are easier to have a set price as they all are basically the same. But those will also go up some in price. There is just no quick way to make these backpacks. I’ve tried
From cutting the pattern, to ironing and sewing the quickest time is 6 hours - with no interruptions

For the new followers/customers - patience is a must. I work all day almost 7 days a week most weeks. My husband has some health issues that require me to take time away from sewing. I also have a daughter on Varsity cheer & Competition Cheer. And I am the crafty mom responsible for making all the bows, shirts etc.

I try to make all of you super special items that just put the biggest smile on your face whenever you use it.

I will make a couple reminder posts about price change as we get closer to the end of the year - just wanted to give you all a heads up on what’s happening in the new year.

I seriously don’t know how we’re in August already.
I swear I start sewing and when I get up another month has come and gone. Wasn’t it just January like yesterday?

I think the Belle cruise backpack is still one of my all time favorites.
I also enjoyed getting creative with the other backpack posted here - this customer sent me all kinds of bags and a pillow case - love that Capt Mickey popping up behind the pocket 🤩
