I love my job at
This week, I worked on my favorite work project to date. I don't always photograph my work, but I sure am proud of this one!
I engraved a pocket in the shape of a Taylor, laser cut the components out of species we have supplied them, such as black acacia, ironbark eucalyptus, and fir! All sourced in SoCal!

It's now in the hands of Andy Powers. How cool is that?!

Cheers to slower days that allow you to honor your creativity.
I wish you all whatever it is that fulfills your being, your creativity, your thirst for better, and a heart that knows forgiveness and tendeness, as much as it knows grief.
I had the privilege of starting this last day of 2025, creating something that I have wanted to make for so long. This is an inlaid bird of paradise, which is my favorite flower.

Monkey Pod table with a clear epoxy.
The 7th photo shows the condition in which I received this table top. It was weathered, warped, left outside and forgotten about, and my client lost hope that it could be restored.
So, I took on the challenge to restore it. Some of you watched along the little snippets I shared during the process.
It was lengthy, full of lessons and renditions, and this was the best version I could have built.
This project is representative of 2025. A space in time that seemed it'd go one way, took a twist, and ended up looking and feeling entirely different; like the best version of itself and very much like my life this year. :)
