BeeZ by Scranton Vintage books fashioned into purses. Original book rebound as paperback. You can read your purse! So if you like you can still read your purse!

One day, while hunting for vintage books on beekeeping, I discovered that thousands of beautiful old books were being destroyed at an alarming rate. Being a tireless worker bee myself, I began scouring library sales, tag sales and book dealers to save these lovely books from the shredder. I re purpose these vintage books into truly one-of-a-kind functional purses and rebind the books original pages into paperbacks that come with your vintage book purse. Want to order your own vintage book purse? I can be contacted at [email protected]. You can take a look at my Etsy shop here: etsy.com/shop/beezbyscranton

We had a wonderful time at the Mystic Film Festival on Sept. 25th. We cannot thank everyone enough for the hospitality, the variety of interesting documentaries and the amazing people we met there. Of course, the most important thanks go to Susan Pinchiaroli and Lucy Spahr , who found our lives filmable when attending the Artrider show. Here is a very brief photo essay from the Festival of our time there.

Our family will be featured in a documentary entitled "Bindings" on Sept. 25. Anyone who would love to see the film please use the link below to get tickets. It is being shown in Mystic CT. We were honored to be chosen to be the subject of this documentary. Susan Danielle Pinchiaroli found us at the show in 2025. I am at a loss for words on how important it was to share our story. We will be there as well.
