Today we did a big cleanup by the Pawtuxet River in Cranston off of Elmwood Ave! We had 5 people and picked up 9 bags of trash. It’s truly amazing what 40 minutes out of your day can do to help the environment and animals around us!

Today at 1 pm, RI Hardcore Compassion will be doing a quick litter/trash pickup along the Pawtuxet River! This should only take 30 minutes! We will be focusing on an area at Elmwood and Wellington Ave, where there is heavy litter that we want to properly dispose of, as any litter near water and on land has a drastically negative impact on land and sea animals! A lot of times these animals will accidentally ingest this litter and their stomachs will be full of small pieces of trash that humans carelessly throw away. How would you feel if someone else came around and threw out their garbage in your living space! Let’s pitch in and help our animal friends!!

Solve this equation: 4 people + 20 minutes = 7 bags of trash. Compassion for animals goes way beyond your diet and lifestyle. It’s important to pickup litter, especially along bodies of water since garbage negatively affects both land and water animals. It’s a small act of kindness that goes a long way. Also, today was even more rad because we found a System Of A Down CD that someone so disrespectfully tossed away 😂

It's organizations like RISPCA that make a huge difference to the wellbeing of animals in our area. It's such a shame that these helpless animals had to endure such terrible conditions, but now they can get the love and attention that they deserve! Thank you again to the RISPCA!

An incredibly captivating speech giving a beginner's look into animal rights activism, and the horrors that all animals experience constantly for the meat, dairy, fashion, and entertainment industries. This video is not graphic by any means, but it tells the truth on what occurs. We need to all come together and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves! Welcome to Rhode Island Hardcore Compassion. My name is Tim and I am trying to start a movement to spread more awareness about the benefits of being vegan and protecting the lives of animals that are suffering cruel existences, while putting a heavy metal/hardcore/punk rock/horror movie tinge on it all, to make animal rights and compassion for all living beings EVEN cooler!!!
