Vacation was a blast, but back to work I go!
3 appointments for alterations for the week already set, another tshirt quilt to make, and filling up my fall schedule, starting this Saturday for a huge, fun filled day in Lenox, IA. Check out the Lenox Summerfest page or the Lenox Pocket Market page for more detailed info.

To say I have been busy the last several months is an understatement. Today I finished all the big custom orders that have been floating around my work order board since at least October of last year. I made 75 purses and backpacks for the Wisco Disco that was held in June, a tshirt quilt for my friend John @ I Fling Plastic, a heart quilt for my friends wedding that was last week, my first disc golf baby quilt for good friends first baby, several other quilts i already have posted, and the last finished today is this year's Sidetracked Memorial Ride Harley tshirt quilt. Two of these i used my teenager's skills with a Cricut to make custom pieces to add to 2 of the tshirt quilts to give them an extra special, unique touch!
All this was completed around all my regular alterations and working on new inventory, BTW. No wonder I am a little sleepy. 😉

Just about finished with 2 different sizes of fabric covered comp notebooks in time for all my May shows.

I will have ALL my new inventory, now including fabric keychains, lanyard combos that come with a wallet and chapstick holder, composition and sketch books, pencil pouches, and my newest size of zipper clutches, along with my standards of crossbody bags, backpacks, scrunchies and wallets.

Sunday May 3rd-- Biggest Little Flea Market in Osceola, 1 to 5 pm

Saturday May 9-- find me bartending Hot Air Brewing AND with my full booth set up inside during Market on Maple 10-3 in Creston

January has been crazy busy for me this year, unlike any other January I have had for Needles and Strands to date. Two prototype quilted hoodies finished, finished 4 quilts, hemmed a pair of jeans, repaired 3 pairs of pants and completed a shirt alteration. Whew, I need a nap! I will post the quilts after they have been gifted.
