This is either going to be a great sale… or a great story. 😅

I just sold this Louis Vuitton Michael backpack on eBay for $1,445.

Now comes the waiting game…

The buyer:
✔️ Created their account just a couple of days ago.
✔️ Has 0 feedback.
✔️ Is an international buyer.

I’m hoping they complete payment because this would be one of my biggest sales this year.

I’ve had brand-new buyers turn into amazing customers before… but a luxury item at this price definitely gets your attention.

Do you think they’ll complete the purchase? 🤞

Moving has forced me to make some tough reseller decisions. 😅

Seven bags of inventory are headed out for donation.

As much as I love finding treasures, not every item deserves to take up space forever.

Sometimes the best business decision isn’t sourcing more…
It’s letting go of inventory that no longer fits your strategy.

The goal isn’t to keep everything.

The goal is to make room for better opportunities.

Reselling has taught me that holding onto something “just in case” can cost more than letting it go.

I’m trying something new with all of my kids’ inventory.

Instead of listing every piece myself, I’m sending it to Rhea Lana, a children’s consignment pop-up sale.

As a reseller, I’m always looking at the trade-off between time and profit. Could I make more listing every item individually? Probably.

But sometimes getting inventory sold faster and freeing up space is worth it.

I’ll definitely share the results once everything sells (or doesn’t 😅).

This was one of the most honest reviews I’ve received.

The buyer thought they were purchasing something completely different because they found my listing through a search. After it arrived, they realized they hadn’t read the full description.

Instead of blaming me, they took responsibility and even left a positive review.

As a reseller, this is exactly why I spend so much time on:
✔️ Accurate titles
✔️ Detailed descriptions
✔️ Lots of photos
✔️ Measurements
✔️ Fabric content

You can’t prevent every mistaken purchase, but you can make sure buyers have all the information they need before they click “buy.”

Shoutout to buyers like this who remind me there are still kind and understanding people out there. ❤️

Remember when I said I wasn’t going to the Goodwill bins because we’re moving? 😅

Well…

That plan lasted approximately one day.

I told myself I’d “just look.”

Five bags later, here we are. 😂

In my defense… the bins don’t care that I’m moving.

One of my favorite Depop tips that has helped me sell more items 👇

Here’s what happened with this sale:

🕘 9:32 AM – Buyer sent me an $11 offer.
🕙 9:56 AM – I accepted it.
⏳ Then… nothing.

By the next day, they still hadn’t completed the purchase.

🕒 3:24 PM – I sent a simple message:

“Hello! I accepted your offer! I can ship ASAP! Thank you :)”

🕞 3:32 PM – Less than 10 minutes later, they completed the purchase.

Now, I’m not saying this works every single time, but I’ve had enough buyers complete checkout after a friendly reminder that it’s become part of my Depop routine.

Sometimes people get distracted.
Sometimes they forget they still have to complete the purchase.

A quick, friendly message only takes a few seconds and, in my experience, it’s worth trying.

Do you message buyers after accepting their offers, or do you just wait?

I ended up at the goodwill bins. Peer pressure is real 💯

I’m trying to be very very picky, but the bins have been giving today. Most is for Rhea Lana that I will be giving to them Tuesday so at least that will be out of the house lol

I also have some goodies for the hubs even though he didn’t come with me 🤪
