Today, with the help of Schererville Firefighters Local 4279, Schererville Fire Department, Hobart Firefighters Local 1641 and Lake Hills Fire Department I was able to drop off a check for $1000 to support the efforts of Phil’s Friends. Based out of Crown Point, IN, the not for profit focuses on “Providing Christ-centered support and hope to those affected by cancer.” https://philsfriends.org

In the month of October the departments wore pink to show their support for cancer patients. We hope that Phil’s Friends will be able to use this donation to continue to provide comfort and support for all the brave cancer fighters they serve.

Thank you to all of the firefighters who participated in this fundraising event.
