I don't know why I got on a sleeve island with a vest with no sleeves 🤷‍♀️. But I finally added the arm ribbing and a button band. Now to deal with the ends and to decide on the buttons and my daughter can wear the whole of Clothbound Classics (Advent 2025) by Kate McMullin. One of the iconic yarn places in New England, Green Mountain Spinnery in Putney, Vermont, surprised me with how small it is. Good things come in small packages though, and I got two skeins ofAmerican raised and spun Mountain Mohair yarn and some spin sample yarn they had on sale for $2/oz.

I spent this April with tulips on my mind. This was my first tulip field experience, I had a season pass to tulips, and made a good use of it!

Naturally, tulips made their way not to my vase only, but into my knitting, too. Here’s a pair of socks with tulips on heel flaps and rows of tulips on the cuffs. What do you think?

Toe up 2AAT socks with gusset and flap heel, colorwork and 2x2 ribbing
