Before we became the co-founders of Girls Gone Hajj, we were simply four Muslim women who were friends.
Then Allah placed Hajj on Hajjah Saeeda’s heart.
She came to the rest of us and said, “We’re going to Hajj.”
There wasn’t a detailed plan. There wasn’t a perfect timeline. There was faith, sisterhood, and a willingness to trust Allah’s invitation.
We prepared together. We encouraged one another. We held each other accountable. And by Allah’s permission, all four of us made Hajj together in 2009
That experience taught us something we’ll never forget:
