The one thing every other twin parent has told me is “keep them on the same schedule”
Literally every single one. Eat together, play together, sleep together, p**p together.
But I’ve found separate feeds overnight to be my preference. When the house is asleep, and it’s dark and quiet. And it’s only you two for the first time all day. The moment isn’t being shared or split between both babies. The world feels a little slower, which isn’t often when operating with twins, and I get to have that 1 on 1 bond with each of them individually and I cherish that. Does it mean I have double the wakes to deal with? Yes. But I don’t want to ever look back with regret of not slowing down and enjoying the moments with each of my babies individually. Its so easy to fall into a robotic routine just to survive and get through the day while caring for two infants at the same time.
